Family History is my passion. I discovered my ancestors were from the Bracey area about 18 years ago. I’ve learned a lot about Bracey area families’ genealogy and how area families are related. I’m fascinated with visiting farms and learning the history of the area. I have no sense of direction. So, people show me cool places, then I mark GPS coordinates on a map. I thoroughly enjoy interviews. I also appreciate seeing pictures of people and places. I enjoy taking pictures during my visits. I scan things and digitize to help preserve family history. I was very excited to discover the Bracey history project because they are gathering and preserving the very things I treasure. They are learning about and preserving things I want to know more about.
